Brendan York

is a fingerstyle guitarist from Eugene, Oregon who plays a mix of blues, jazz, rags, folk, contemporary, and classical. His early influences were the great bluesmen from the 20's and 30's, such as Blind Blake and Robert Johnson, as well as a diverse palette of classic rock greats and early 90's alternative. His studies took him to explore improvisational jazz and modern fingerstyle composers such as Preston Reed and Michael Hedges. He is currently a student of classical and jazz guitar at Lane Community College in Eugene.
